- 1.2 We share class handouts, reminders, Zen videos, Zoom links for meditation sessions, and more in the WhatsApp group.
- 1.3 Be part of the Zen community and stay updated, and you may choose to leave the group anytime after the Beginner’s Zen Class without any reason or notice.
2. Watch 2 short videos BEFORE the class
Learn how to sit correctly to prevent harm to your body during sitting meditation sessions.

3. What to Bring
- 3.1 Bring your meditation cushion. If you do not have one, you will receive a gift cushion in the class.
- 3.2 Bring 2 or more blankets for padding, or more if needed. The Center does NOT provide shared meditation gear for personal hygiene concerns.
- 3.3 Bring your water.
4. What to Wear
- 4.1 Wear loose-fitting clothes for comfortable meditation.
- 4.2 Wear NON-scented products for allergy-free practice .
- 4.3 Wear clean socks or come with clean bare feet, as you will need to remove your shoes when sitting on a meditation cushion.
5. Giving Together for a Tuition-Free Zen Space
- 5.1 None Zen Center is a volunteer-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers tuition-free meditation classes and is run entirely by donation.
- 5.2 All our instructors are not only volunteers but also primary donors. We sincerely ask for your gift. Together, let’s support a tuition-free meditation environment.

6. Where to Meet
- 6.1 The class meets in the Dance Studio on the first floor of the Roosevelt Community Center, located at 901 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95116.
- 6.2 Parking is available behind the building. Turn onto S 21st Street to access the parking lot.
