Welcome to our tuition-free Online Zen School.
In an effort to make Zen teachings accessible to students around the globe, we provide online classes via our Online Zen School. The Online Zen School gives everyone, from beginners to seasoned practitioners, a chance to take their practice of investigating Zen to the next level from the comfort of their own home and on their own schedule.
We invite you to sign up to the Online School by clicking here .
We currently have 2 courses available (both in English and Chinese) with lessons ranging from 5 to 25 minutes. The first course is “Basic Zen Concepts” and introduces Zen stories and Zen concepts such as the loop of duality and the purpose of Zen meditation. This course is an ideal place to start with Zen teachings as well as a refresher for more experienced practitioners.
“Monk Boshan’s Advice for Investigating Zen” is a two-year long course with weekly classes. Each class covers invaluable insights into the advice Monk Boshan (1575-1630) gave us for staying on the right path of our investigation of Zen to find our true nature.
We greatly appreciate and benefit from the Zen teaching and Zen tradition delivered from the ancient Zen masters, including our Shigong (Grand Master/Teacher) Guoru, and our Shifu Jeremy and Shifu Linda. By providing the Online Zen School, we welcome more and more people to join us in meditation and benefit from our Shifus’ teaching. Above all, we push ourselves to work hard with dedication, investigate Zen to uncover the nature of self, and to become qualified to carry on the lineage teaching, so that future generations can also investigate Zen and benefit from the lineage teaching.
All courses are tuition-free and accessible via your laptop or your phone using the Teachable app. We do ask you to consider donating, $1,$2, $3 or any generous amount per class taken. As a small 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are able to provide tuition-free classes in our three centers and on the Online Zen School thanks to your donations.
The None Zen Sangha thank you for your love and care for the Zen community.
