Beginner’s Class

Beginner’s Class, Tainan (199 Youai St., Zhongxi Dist, Tainan 700, Taiwan)
(Please note that this class will be conducted in English and for non-native Chinese speakers only.)

Beginner’s Zen Class is a 2.5-hour course for newcomers to learn basic Zen ideas and three meditation skills. We provide Beginner’s Class on specified Saturdays 9:00 am – 11:30 am (Check the class timetable below). As an incentive, we will provide you with a set of meditation gear, including a meditation cushion and backpack. The meditation gear is a gift from the Center. We sincerely hope you can start and continue your Zen practice with this Beginner’s Class.

* Prior Online registration is required. As required by Taiwan law, our non-profit organization provides classes to its members only. Those who apply for classes will automatically apply for the learning membership to take classes at None Zen Center, which is why you will need to fill in some personal information on the application form. No membership fee will be charged for learning membership. The None Zen Center reserves the right to accept or reject any application.

Tuition Free
We provide tuition-free meditation classes, but we do ask that you consider providing a donation. The None Zen Center is run entirely by donations. It is the loving gifts from our teachers, students, and friends which create a tuition-free learning environment for Zen meditation, and so will your generosity surely pass on the same love to others. We recommend a NT$800 donation for a 2.5-hour Beginner’s Class provided in our Tainan Center, but donations of greater and lesser sums are all appreciated. No one will be turned away for lack of donations.
