Bridging Class, Tainan
((Please note that this class will be conducted in English and for non-native Chinese speakers only.)
The Bridging Class is a 3-session course to help students who have completed the Beginner’s Class in the Center (or who have learned meditation before but want to learn a new meditation skill) to get familiar with the Zen technique of Doubting Meditation (Chn. huatou, Jpn. wato, Krn. hwadu), a traditional Zen method which has been widely applied and proven to lead people to enlightenment. The class meets on Saturdays at 11 am–12 pm.
Online Registration Required
As required by Taiwan law, our non-profit organization provides classes to its members only. Those who apply for classes will automatically apply for the learning membership to take classes at None Zen Center, which is why you will need to fill in some personal information on the application form. No membership fee will be charged for learning membership. The None Zen Center reserves the right to accept or reject any application.
We provide tuition-free meditation classes, but we do ask that you consider providing a donation. The None Zen Center is run entirely by donations. It is the loving gifts from our teachers, students, and friends which create a tuition-free learning environment for Zen meditation, and so will your generosity surely pass on the same love to others.
We recommend a NT$800 donation for the three-session Bridging Class provided in our Tainan Center, but donations of greater and lesser sums are all appreciated. No one will be turned away.
