As we approach the end of 2021, with the changes and uncertainties showing no sign of abating, we are constantly reminded of the impermanent nature of reality. Yet amid the doom and gloom, we also want to encourage ourselves and the Zen Community to constantly investigate Zen our self-nature, through the practice of Dharma-Dana.

What is Dharma-Dana?
Dharma-Dana (or in Chinese 法布施, fa-bu-shi), is the practice of sharing our spiritual support with each other. Just like how Zen masters share the teaching of Zen with practitioners, we as Zen practitioners can also share spiritual support with each other through mutual encouragement.

“Share your Zen Space”
From Nov to Jan 31, 2022, we hope you join us in our “Share your Zen Space” campaign. Whenever you meditate, please share a photo of your meditation space or setting on our FB page. It can even be a photo of your pet which always snuggle up on your cushion or the weather as you look out the window. In fact, thoughts in the form of video or text are welcomed too. The point is to encourage ourselves and the community to stick with our regular meditation habit.

So as you wind down for the year, remember when you meditate, feel free to share with us a photo of your meditation space at https://www.facebook.com/nonezencenter. See you soon!
